Very few people can resist a puffer fish once they’ve seen one, and the small figure 8 puffer might be one you’d like to bring home to your own freshwater aquarium. Their expressive faces, intelligent curiosity, and propeller-like fins are charming. Puffer fish derive their name from their ability to inflate themselves with water or air when startled. This is a very successful defensive mechanism because it’s harder to swallow a fish that’s ballooning in size!

Pure Line Red Crystal Shrimp
Pureline Red Crystal Shrimp, also known as Pure Red Line (PRL) shrimp, are a refined variant of the Crystal Red shrimp. They are the result of selective breeding aimed at maintaining their pristine heritage. Here are some key points about them:

Appearance: PRL shrimp have predominantly opaque white bodies with red spots and patterns, such as crowns, smiles, or flowers. Unlike typical Crystal Red shrimp, they don’t have full red bands.

Purigen 500ml
Size: 500 mlPurigen is a premium synthetic adsorbent that is unlike any other filtration product. It is not a mixture of ion exchangers or adsorbents, but a unique macro-porous synthetic polymer that removes soluble and insoluble impurities from water at a rate and capacity that exceeds all other competing products by over 500%. Purigen controls ammonia, nitrites and nitrates by removing nitrogenous organic waste that would otherwise release these harmful compounds.

DIRECTIONS:
Rinse before use. Use in a fine mesh (180 micron or less) filter bag such as SeachemÕs The Bag. For best results, Purigen should be placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Each 250mL treats up to 1,000L (250 US gallons) for up to six months. Red Beckford’s Pencilfish
The peaceful and beautifully-colored Red Beckford’s Pencilfish is one of the most superb freshwater nano fish!
The Red Beckford’s Pencilfish (Nannostomus beckfordi var. “Red”) is a very sought-after schooling community fish. Its small size, vibrant coloration, and relative rarity have made it one of the most desirable freshwater nano and planted aquarium fish.
The Red Beckford’s Pencilfish typically occupies the top and middle level of the water column, although it can often be seen swimming and feeding in the middle and bottom levels as well. It is safe with other peaceful, small fish. Adult dwarf shrimp are generally safe as well, but adult Red Beckford’s Pencilfish may eat small dwarf shrimp and their fry. Larger, peaceful invertebrates can also make good tankmates. Red Beckford’s Pencilfish must be kept in schools of 6 or more. Since they are tank-raised, Red Beckford’s Pencilfish are very adaptable, but their natural habitat contains soft, acidic water rich in tannins and leaf litter.
While not a picky eater, the Red Beckford’s Pencilfish will thrive and remain very colorful on a varied diet of meaty foods. High-quality flake food, pellets, and frozen or freeze-dried meaty foods will all be readily accepted.

Red Fancy Tiger Shrimp
The great thing about Red Fancy Tiger shrimp is that they vary in pattern so drastically, all are so beautiful. We sell tiger shrimp usually around half an inch. The smaller they are, the easier it is to acclimate them to a new aquarium. The shrimp will reach breeding age within a month of receiving them.
Red fancy tiger shrimp are a mix between tiger shrimp and crystal red shrimp. We keep these shrimp at the parameters below. In our experience, these shrimp are very hardy and have done really well for us. Through importing these guys, we have lost very few. The red fancy tiger is a must have for all aquarium shrimp hobbyist. The contrast between the red and white is very appealing. They are a great change from the typical red and white patterns found in crystal red dwarf shrimp.

The Flame Dwarf Gourami is a peaceful and shy fish. If you have a pair of them, the two fish will swim together. Flame Dwarf gouramis are considered labyrinth fish, which means they breathe straight from the air with a lung-like labyrinth organ and need to have access to the water’s surface.
Originating from India, West Bengal, Assam, and Bangladesh, the Flame Dwarf Gourami are native to thickly vegetated waters.

How to Keep:

Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp A
Their breathtaking red and white coloration makes this one of the most sought-after shrimp in the world!Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp (Caridina cantonensis) are notorious for their very striking red and white coloration that makes them stand out magnificently against any backdrop or substrate. Though similar to our Crystal Red Shrimp, these tend to be more uncommon and offer a more broken “galaxy” pattern.
These shrimp are A grade, meaning the intense coloration covers most of the body. Higher grades of Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp actually have more white coverage and less red coverage, and can be very difficult to keep as they are much more sensitive than these. Because of this, A grade Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp are the best starting point for anyone that wants to keep Red Galaxy Pinto Shrimp.
We also have the same type of shrimp in black and white, called a “Black Galaxy Pinto”. They will breed with these and produce either black/white or red/white offspring only, making an absolutely gorgeous-looking colony of galaxy shrimp.

Red King Kong Shrimp Wine Red
Red King Kong shrimp and Panda shrimp are red Taiwan bees. They are from the genus Caridina and tend to be more difficult to keep compared to cherry shrimp or other aquarium shrimp. Taiwan Bees were considered some of the hardest to keep and breed freshwater shrimp in the past. Between 2009 and 2014, hobbyists were able to stabilize the Taiwan bee shrimp line to have more stability. By adding in new genetic pools, the Taiwan bee shrimp is much easier to keep and breed in current days. For a hobbyist ready to take their hobby to the next level, these shrimp are a great place to start.
Mixing Taiwan Bees
It is great to be aware of the fact that all Taiwan Bee shrimp can be kept in the same tank with out risk of hybridizing. All Taiwan Bee shrimp share similar genetic lines so they will produce shrimp that look similar to the parents. Red King Kongs, Red Pandas, Black King Kongs, Black Pandas and Blue Bolts can all be kept in the same aquarium.
