API® Quick Start allows for the instant addition of fish, as it immediately starts the natural aquarium cycle with beneficial bacteria, which converts toxic ammonia into nitrite, then into harmless nitrate to help prevent fish loss in your tank. Best for use when starting a new aquarium, after water changes and filter changes, and when adding new fish to an existing aquarium. API Quick Start may be used in both fresh and saltwater aquariums.

API® Melafix is an all-natural antibacterial treatment that works to treat infections in fish. Common bacterial infections are open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloud, and mouth fungus. API Melafix also promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue. Product may be used when adding fish to an aquarium – particularly to smooth the transition from store to home – and if an infection is suspected, but not yet diagnosed. It contains no malachite green or other dye based disinfectants that can discolor or quaternary disinfectants that foam. Used as directed, it is safe for fish, plants, and the biological filter.

DIRECTIONS:
