All our fishes are stocked in the best possible condition.
Julii corydoras are uncomplicated and tolerate more than a few initial water parameters. Water may be barely acidic to barely alkaline, with smooth to medium-hard water hardness. However, they’re touchy to poorly maintained tanks, especially people with a grimy substrate and few water changes, ensuing in deteriorating water chemistry. Water need to be well-filtered and oxygenated.
The substrate must be smooth, as this fish will scavenge the lowest for bits of food. Sand or small, very easy gravel, is suitable. Driftwood is recommended, in addition to some thing which could function a hiding place. Plants also are needed; floating vegetation may be used to dim the lighting, as this species does now no longer respect vivid lights.
