API Liquid Super Ick Cure, 50ml
Size: 50 mlAPI® SUPER ICK CURE fish remedy treats “Ich,” or white spot disease, in fish, along with other highly contagious parasitic diseases. The Ich parasite has a multi-staged life cycle, and is invisible in its early stages when it burrows into gill and skin tissue, causing severe electrolyte loss and gill damage in addition to promoting secondary bacterial and/or fungal infections.
Early symptoms of this infection include your fish darting around in the aquarium, your fish scratching against gravel or ornaments, labored breathing, and your fish remaining near the water’s surface, near filters, or near aeration devices. White spots may not always be visible on fish.
SUPER ICK CURE fish remedy usually kills the Ich parasite within 24 hours, and is safe for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This product comes in both liquid and powder form, and it is important to dose according to the directions on packaging.
- For each 10 gallons of water, empty one packet directly into aquarium.
- Repeat dose after 48 hours.
- Wait another 48 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon or replace filter cartridge.
Directions for use for liquid:
- Remove activated carbon from filter and continue aeration.
- Add 5 ml. per 5 gallons of aquarium water.
- Repeat dose 48 hours.
- Wait another 48 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon.

Use the API® NITRATE TEST KIT to ensure that the nitrate levels in your tank are safe and healthy for your fish.
The NITRATE TEST KIT reads parameters from 0 to 160 ppm and may be used for both fresh and saltwater aquariums.

Nitrite is produced in the aquarium in the forms of fish waste, uneaten food, and by nitrifying bacteria in your aquarium’s natural cycle as it breaks down ammonia. Low levels of nitrite inhibit respiration and suppress the immune system, while high levels cause suffocation in fish.
The API® NITRITE TEST KIT reads nitrite levels quickly and accurately in your tank, and tests parameters from 0 to 5 ppm.
Contains 180 tests and includes 1 test solution, easy-to-ready instructions, glass test tube and color chart.

API pH Down, 4 OZ
API® pH DOWN pH adjuster lowers pH to make freshwater aquariums more acidic for fish and plants when levels rise too high. pH is the measure of acidic or alkaline conditions in water, where a value of 7.0 corresponds to a neutral pH, pH values about 7.0 are considered alkaline, and pH values below 7.0 are considered acidic.
Different fish need different pH levels to be healthy, so it is important to test your water regularly to ensure pH levels fall where they should. pH DOWN pH adjuster is fast-acting, colorless, easy to use, and will not cloud aquarium water. Because it is phosphate-free and nitrate-free, pH DOWN pH adjuster will not encourage algae growth.
Determine the pH of aquarium water with an API pH TEST KIT. To lower pH, add 1 ml. for each 10 gallons of aquarium water.
Take another pH reading before adding another dose of pH DOWN pH adjuster.
Some fish may be sensitive to pH adjustments greater than 0.2 in a 24 hour period, so changes of this magnitude should be done with extreme care.
